But like its incredibly vague about how you obtain them. Which is weird since the game is usually very straight forward with giving information (except things like IV's). I would've like it to be like the way you unlock applications in gen 4 when you beat gym's.

But a lot of them were pretty vague about who had them. You'd have to talk to everybody and look everywhere to get every app.

DAMMIT GAMEFREAK YOU FUCKED IT UP!

Welp, some lazy dude(s) up there decided not to scrub the demo clean before releasing it, so data miners uncovered every single new pokemon, their types, stats, moves, etc...

So fair warning to those who want to go unspoiled until release, those leaks are gonna be floating around~

I took a look, and I really doubt that all the new Pokemon have been revealed - otherwise this generation is the smallest yet, by a wide margin.

The Salandit evo didn't disappoint.
I can't say the same about the starters. I was hoping that the earlier leak was fake. Because we really didn't need yet another wrestler Pokemon...

Rowlet's final evolution is neat though.

Even if it's Dark type, not fighting type? At least the types should be changing up.

Those leaks are really disappointing. Game Freak played really safe for Gen6 and 7 and it shows really badly : Gen6 and 7 combined have less Pokemon than Gen5 alone. That's extremely disappointing, and kind of really sad realization that we're pretty much doomed to have gen1 revived over and over for future games

I mean they already did that in Pokemon Yellow. though i fully agree that this stand-like Pokemon concept is stupid. Its like they try to turn it into Jojo

I already named my Sawk Dio and my Throh Jonathan.

I'm gonna laugh if they added fake things to the demo just to trick people who hacked into it.

I'm just happy those starter evos are legit. I've been wanting Popplio to become the mermaid/siren from the leaks ever since it was seen from just the concept arts.
Only thing I'm disappointed in is the shiny for it, I was kiiiinda wanting it to be pink and white or pink and purple (Because I'm getting a male and I want him to look as girly and cute as possible because that's just my thing. :3)

Finally news about the typing of the fully evolved starters. Decidueye is suprisingly enough Grass Ghost . Incineroar is Fire Dark. Primarina is Water Fairy. Also Wally, Cynthia.... and RED AND BLUE WILL RETURN and redesigned and they look now more matured. Is good day today

I'm split between Incineroar and Primarina.

Going by sexiness:

1. Primarina
2. Decidueye
3. Incineroar

I don't know about the Water/Fairy type, but Grass/Ghost sounds good. It might even allow it to avoid damage when fighting the rival's Incineroar. We have already had a Fire/Dark pokemon: Houndoom, and it can mega evolve.

I wonder if we'll get the Orre Battle Mountain champions too?

I summon Necrozma to revive this thread and spread the news!

http://www.serebii.net/news/2017/06-June-2017.shtml

The rehash/director's cut "Stars" everyone was hoping for (for reasons I'll never understand, why would you want pokemon to go back to the trend of a rehashed 3rd version rather than a sequel) actually turned out to be Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

As a result the internet's at war, legions of people are either hyped or enraged, /v/ and /vp/ are on suicide watch at the lack of any Diamond and Pearl remake news, and switch fans are outraged that a game nintendo never hinted would be coming to the switch didn't come to the switch.

So, what are your thoughts?

Just how old is Sun/Moon? I still haven't beaten it, because of a lack of trying, but I feel like this is a bit early for another Pokemon game.

Almost 8 months old, and ehh, Sun/Moon had such a lackluster post game that I welcome a sequel already.

Announcing "remakes" of the main game after 7 months gives the hint that the planned that long before the game was ready to be released. There are no reason for them to be doing that. Unlike Black/White, the 3DS is capable of getting updates and DLC. They should have just released that as new content but they seem to be more comfortable about us paying full price again for basically the same game with very slight tweaks and making Sun/Moon irrelevant after a short life of one year.

A theory I'm having in mind is, they did that to squeeze the very last drip of the 3DS's life, and are planning to release the gen4 remakes on the Switch not too long after these "new" games will be out for purchase.

A port of a port, another port for the Virtual Console and a remake/port of a 7 months old game. Seems like Game Freak is following Nintendo's ways on how to release "new" games with little to no effort

If they want to give Sun and Moon the Black 2 and White 2 treatment, fine, whatever.

The pressing matter is launching a main series Pokemon title for Nintendo Switch that can be played in handheld or console modes, proving the commitment to the convergence of handheld and console.
