So... I know there's a rule on keeping your fantasies to yourself, but what's the fine line between a comment that can be considered creepy, and not creepy? As for myself, not many comments have creeped me out, and even still, the image probably won't be ruined for me.

I'm also fearful that I may say something that someone else could interpret as creepy, and ruin the image for them.

Ideally, don't give TMI about your libido, or what you want to do to a character, or talk to the image.

Comments are intended for criticism and discussion about the image. Rule of the thumb, if you have to mention you wanting to do something sexual involving you and/or a character in the image, it's creepy.

EG:

Not creepy:

• This is really good!
• <insert x name> looks amazing
• I'd love to see more of this

Avoid:

• I wish <insert x> was <insert another gender>

Creepy:

• I wish I were the <insert x species> in the middle
• I want to guzzle all that cum
• I'd fuck a fish
• I came / This made me cum / etc

Also kind of creepy:

• Bringing up your favorite hardcore fetishes in unrelated posts. Such as "then he skinned her and ate her" on a generic romantic_couple post.

What about complimenting a character's breasts or penis? On one hand, compliments are allowed. On the other hand, most talk about a character's fun bits tends to fall into creepy territory.

I generally try not to judge something as creepy...because I don't judge fetishes. So if you judge a comment saying something like "oh god I want that ass on my face so bad!" you're basically judging the facesitting fetish as well.

Good rule of thumb is anything revolving around "In Real Life" sexual happenings situations is what's considered being creepy : Portraying yourself in a scene/picture and describing how horny and stiff you are over a picture are what creep people out.

However all of that is void if there is a tad of humor thrown in the comment ; Also the easiest way to get upvotes, for people where scores matter a lot to them

I generally don't get creeped out by much here, since I come here with the understanding that it is a porn site; same with anything on r34.

I think the closest I've come to creeped out is when an old friend surprised-commissioned my teenage Pokesona. It ended up here within a few days and the "NICE ASS" comments appeared.

Pretty much what they said. If this was porn site, we wouldn't accept SFW stuff and we wouldn't exactly be conserned about posts quality or source. Personally I'd consider anything that makes it overly personal in a sexual way creepy. So saying something is sexy is a-okay, even if it gets specific like "the way the mouth is drawn is hot" but inserting yourself like "I'd love to slip down that throat" isn't. A personal emotional opinion/reaction like "this got me smiling" is fine (though it might be a bit weird, frankly) but sharing a sexual reaction like "this got me hard" isn't.

The rule is really weird and hard to imagine having to write the text for... Sexually inappropriate is a pretty subjective standard. The images most likely to cause people to think of creepy comments to post are the ones for which those comments least seem inappropriate. What does it even mean for a comment to cause an unpleasant feeling or unease? That's entirely based on the reader. The comment can't do it on its own. If you see a comment below an image of two giant-cocked monsters rimming each other, and someone posts that they wish they were in there too, that's hardly out of line. Take that comment and move it over to something safe-rated, and it looks entirely different. I don't have a good suggestion for how that gets reconciled. It does seem overly strict, though, to lump entertaining dirty jokes, possibly fetish-appropriate smut, and out-of-line trolling in all situations into just one category. It would make life slightly easier, at least, to link the prohibited content somehow to the image rating at the time of posting.
