Topic: Delete autofill in search bar

Posted under General

Hello,
How does someone remove an autofill option on e621's browser? I have some previous searches that I would like removed from there. Thanks.

In Firefox, you can use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the autofill options and press the delete key to delete them. To delete all of them tap down twice then hold delete.

In Chrome, you can go to your history (ctrl + h), click "clear browsing data", switch to the Advanced tab, set time range to "all time", select "autofill form data", then press clear data. This will affect other sites as well. Nevermind that doesn't work. I'm not a Chrome user. I don't know how to do it in Chrome.

Alright, I figured it out for Chrome. It's like Firefox, but you have to hold down shift while you press delete. Also, you have to delete one entry at a time; you can't just hold shift + delete. Instead of scrolling to the searches you want to delete with the up/down arrow keys, you can just mouse over it, which may be significantly faster for deleting several searches.
