Topic: Questioning whether a realistic dildo and a male should receive the male/male tag...

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Title says it all.
I was doing a tagging sweep and it occurred to me that quite a few times since I joined I've had to retag posts of male characters playing with obviously "male" dildos. I get that a featureless toy wouldn't really contribute to the sexuality tagging since I've met a few guys who like anal play but wouldn't go near another man in that way due to being straight. But what about dildo shaped like another males cock? I asked myself, didn't have an answer so I'm asking here.

The second quarter of the question is,
Should males and tentacles really get a male/male tag? Shouldn't the tentacles be considered ambiguous?
What about disembodied hands?
The hands one actually had me in trouble once because I kept trying to tag it as ambiguous... it was someone's hands! But couldn't assign a gender due to no body... see my dilemma?

If you can tell that it is indeed a dildo, it is male + solo, otherwise male/male if it just looks like a disembodied penis. Hands are ambiguous with no other defining features present. I think tentacles are supposed to be ambiguous as well but I'm not sure about phallic tentacles.

Hands don't count as genders. Tentacles don't count as genders. Neither count as ambiguous_gender. They don't count as full characters, so they do not have genders assigned to them; hands count only for out of focus counts, and tentacles do not count at all unless attached to a character.

People use dildos shaped like animal genitals, but changes are that they aren't into bestiality. If I got to avarage sex shop or online shop and tried to buy dildo for myself, changes are that huge chunk if not majority of them is shaped like a real deal. Even cheaper toys which does not look like real deal are shaped in similar fashion. So unless you are willing to go extra mile to not seem gay, there's change you can have real deal looking dildo.

And if considering tagging, exclusions to rules always only complicate things. If it looks like toy, then it counts as toy and nothing else.

And male users of the site, anal masturbation does not make you gay and can actually open up new pleasures you may not have experienced before, so don't be afraid of trying new things. It's having sex with another male in a way that balls touch that makes you gay.
