Topic: [Bug] I can't change the artist tag of a picture

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Bug overview description.
I can't change the artist tag of post #720385.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?

What is the expected behavior?
I tried to edit post #720385 and tag artist:norman_rockwell and click on "save changes".

What actual behavior is given instead?
But nothing changes, and the artist tag is once again "singlerider4" instead of "norman_rockwell".

It's not a bug; norman_rockwell is currently aliased to singlerider4.

Why was it aliased to singlerider4 if the artist's name is norman_rockwell, if I may ask?

The artist is DNP, so Notme aliased them all into a single name to prevent confusion. It was most likely the most occurring or common name for them.

Now I understand, thank you.

Norman Rockwell was a painter who died in 1978 and the image was made in 1917, so that sure is an interesting note.

This shouldn't have been aliased. These people are in no way the same.

Well, I stand corrected. Thank you for explaining that to me.
