Topic: Pets

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

So, uploading a picture of a girl and her cats. Wanted to tag the kitties as pets. So, , did a quick search to make sure there wasn't an odd tag for it.

I found:

pet - 1509 - Wiki: An animal often kept in home as a friend. For example, a dog. It's also used in anthro art, suggesting a role reversal.

petplay - 1431 - Wiki: Petplay (also known as "animal roleplay") is a form of roleplay where at least one participant plays the part of an "animal" or "victim", sometimes tied with a leash for subjugation or humiliation purposes.

furries_with_pets - 87 - Wiki: Exactly what it sounds like. This tag is for when an image shows the absurd phenomenon of an anthropomorphic character with a non-anthropomorphic pet.

master/pet - 44 - which has no wiki page.

Now... furries_with_pets is great :) V. cute tag. My picture has a human, though.

master/pet and petplay seem to overlap rather sharply.

My problem is pet. It's a mix of ... well, I'm sure there's some man's best friend in here, but there is a lot of... fucking-someone-with-a-collar-on, solo humiliation/abuse pictures and.. well, and stuff that isn't heartwarming cuddly critters.

Obviously, there's a tag problem here. I"m just not sure how to fix it.

I mean, besides the obvious "separate the puppies from the slutpuppies.

Should be disambiguated. I'd imagine that pet also gets tagged for petting.

Not sure what I'd name the tags for actual pets. Maybe something like pet_animal, although we'd also need a tag for non-sexual 'anthros (or ferals) keeping humans as pets', etc.
