Topic: Announcing: Muksihs' E621 Artwork Browser 20171208

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

A simpler way to browse the massive E621 artwork archive without having to guess at "tags" or being limited to only six tags for any one search. And it is mobile friendly!

See a post you don't like? Click on "VIEW TAGS" to select from the post's tags and choose the tag which indicates what you don't like. All pictures with that tag will be hidden.

See a post you really like? Click on "VIEW TAGS" to select from the post's tags and choose the tag which indicates what you really like. Only pictures with that tag will be shown.

See a post that is worthy of sharing and you have a steem account? Click on "STEEM POST", adjust the suggested post title to suit your whim, then hit "POST" to confirm.

At any time you can remove tags from your search filter by clicking on "Active Tag Filters".

You can also browse a very large selection of the most common E621 tags under "Available Tag Filters" to add to your search filter at any time.

You can bookmark and share your searches.

Since I've added the "NEXT" button to the bottom as well as the top, I'll test having more images on a phone and tablet and see how it works out. Thinking maybe 8?

this could actually be a useful tool for the average user. there times where it was hard to narrow down specifics tags to find certain posts
without going over the 6th benchmark. also thanks for giving a open source to it, because I honesty was curious behind the science of how tags work.

I guess I don't understand the point of this. The UI is nice but having only 4 images per page turns me off very quickly. I also don't want to go through a huge list of tags to find the one that I don't want to see / want to see, when I can simply type it into my blocklist / the search bar here on e6.

Exactly how many tags can you combine with the blacklist and search bar together?

I created this mainly to "scratch an itch" where I wanted to be able to search using lots of tags (way more than 6), without having to guess at tags, along with having the ability to share specific posts that I find interesting on my steemit blog in an easy fashion.

I just set the code to display 12 images and recompiled and published it. You might need to refresh your browser to have the new code take effect.
