I think aliasing it to invalid_color would be better. It's just not distinct enough. I can't see anything that couldn't be tagged as blue_hair, grey_hair, or white_hair.

Why is there so much blue under that tag, anyway? :/

I'd have to agree with this assessment. Unless it just needs a massive cleanup?

The wide range under that tag right now is just perplexing. Makes me wonder if it's tagged more often as an informed quality instead of a visual one and therefore it would always be problematic?

If the alias of silver_hair → hair is used instead, should the same alias be used for gold_hair?

I'd say yes, because looking at those pictures under gold_hair: sometimes it's brown_hair, sometimes it's orange_hair and sometimes it's yellow_hair. So it makes more sense to alias it to the base tag instead of to any one of those colors.

Also I think this idea of aliasing both to --> hair is a better idea than aliasing to invalid_tag this time, because this way it'd get replaced with a base tag rather than a nontag. And silver_hair has 620 images under it. With that many being dumped in at once, invalid_tag would probably just end up being mass-removed instead of individually getting retagged with a better color. At least this way they'd still get the hair tag on them for searching.

I would assume silver/gold would be used to tag luster rather than hue. But it doesn't seem that many taggers are using it that way. Probably best to alias them both to hair.

Or we could just alias it to hair.

Yep, that's a better idea.
As for the luster, I think that should be tagged separately.
