Topic: [Feature]answering posts while editing your own

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Requested feature overview description.
A way to answer a comment/forum post while editing your own post.

Why would it be useful?
A lot of times when I double-post it's because I can't (in a skmple way) add a quote from another user while using the edit feature. Although it is possible with multiple tabs and copy-pasting I believe many users do not bother with this since double-posting is so much simpler.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?

Partially, this already exists. Just hit respond to your own post, then hit respond to mine, and viola, you'll have both posts quoted. Once you hit "respond" to something after typing, it just quotes it to the end of the textbox, too, so you can type out your response, and then respond another thing.

Not so much for the sake of editing an existing post, but just don't hit the send button until you're done. If you really want to "edit" in more responses, respond to your post and then remove the quotebox, then add in the extras. You can either post then and hide the old one, or copypaste into the old one.

Copy-pasting takes really long on mobile, but I didn't think of the hiding thing. Thx ^.^
