It makes sense to care about the quality of art, but I feel like the way people on this site see quality is this:

If it isn't this perfect piece with virtually no errors, the artist failed and the comment section will be nothing but unwarranted jeers. And I've suffered from that sort of thing from people here, too.

Even when it comes to budding artists, if the piece doesn't meet the impossible standards of this user-base, it doesn't matter.

And I really think this obsession with Quality has made the people here into a bunch of cynical jerks.

If I'm learning to cook, I will not try to sell my dish at 5 star restaraunt.
If I'm learning of creating furry artwork, I'm not going to post them in curated booru.

"No one is a blacksmith at birth" as they say where I live. If you really want to post stuff here, it gets deleted for quality and you stop, then all I will do is get confused and ask what the hell was your aim?
