Topic: Friend's art being taken down

So apparently, my friend who has veen trying to upload stuff here is constantly denied. Even pictures that were on the site for like 8 months get taken down because "does not meet minimum requirements".

My friend is a beginner artist, their art IMO is not that bad, the only way I see it, its being taken down because its not the most realistic piece of art in the world. My friend loves e6, and I do too, but the admins seem to hate anything they post, and its not even all the Admins, just one admin inparticular.

Assuming that the image isn't taken down:https://e621.net/post?tags=raiyson
This is the only thing left on the site.

I have seen way worse art if not the same tier of art on this site before. Why is that my friebd's art "doesn't meet the quality requirements"? My friend puts effort into their art. They try the best they can, but no matter what their art is always taken down? Usually by NotNeNotYou.

I know that art is in the eye of the beholder, but don't you think its harsh to DENY EVERYTHING they make?

What makes their art so "bad" to the admins that nothing they do stays up? Eveb art that was approved 8 months ago was deleted.

If you are wondering why I made this, my friend had tried to talk to the Admins in the past, if i remember correctly. Which is why they aren't doing this themselves, they didn't ask me to either, its just that i was the one who told thek to put their art on e621.net in the first place, thinking that maybe it would boost their confidence but being shot down numerous times has really made it seem like the Admins hate him.

Forum thread about art being deleted

You're not the first person to have (witnessed) this, your friend might want to use these links and make a checklist from the excerpt I sectioned off. Chances are, it's the first or second point that is causing their art to be deleted; it does not have a solid grasp of artistic principles and/or it is not presented in a legible or readable format.

e621 is not a gallery, it is a curated booru. Any and all incoming posts are subject to staff approval or deletion. Had I seen those posts, I would have deleted them as well. Whether or not something is "harsh" is irrelevant to approval or deletion as we judge by quality, not by person or by feelings.

If you want to post beginner work, stick to gallery sites like FA. This isn't the place for you, at least not yet.

Please see My post has been deleted. Help! for more information.

I would have deleted it too, the anatomy is way off, the penises seem to look like arrows drawn in a few seconds, perspective is also kind of fucky.

E621 is a art archive, not a personal gallery like furry network, furaffinity, deviantart, etc.
The admins do not have you or your friend, we only are trying to ensure that a quality standard is met.
