At some point we really ought to split this tag. It's stupid that there's no way to distinguish whether the knot in question belongs to the smaller or larger character.

Wouldn't smaller_penetrated and larger_penetrated work? Granted, yeah, if there was a group picture where both applied, it might not be as reliable, but knot_hanging has a comparatively small amount of posts under it as-is, so I'd imagine it'd be fine right now.
