Reason:

It's the character's real name, and most if not all tempest posts already have this tag

EDIT: The tag implication fizzlepop_berrytwist_(mlp) -> tempest_shadow_(mlp) (forum #252375) has been rejected by @bitWolfy.

Real names should be aliased to, not implicated to.

yeah single character with no additional forms or anything like that does not need more than one character tag. just alias it.

I don't know about MLP, but at least for darth vader, I'd prefer an implication, to tell very visibly distinct forms apart.

Well if the alias is done well, you can still search for what you used to. Just in the system it is something else

Darth Vader and Annakin should be kept seperate. Darth Vader is only ever seen in the suit, or as a wrinkly scarred old man, while Annakin is either a kid or a young man.

As for Fizzlepop, either somebody is improperly tagging both tags on every single image, or there is no difference in appearance.

I can discern no differences in appearance. Having never seen the movie I'm guessing in the end she gets turned good and everyone starts calling her by her real name which is fizzlepop...because she is no longer a villain and thus doesn't need a villain's moniker anymore.

I would alias it as this:

fizzlepop_berrytwist → tempest_shadow_(mlp)
fizzlepop_berrytwist_(mlp) → tempest_shadow_(mlp)

Simply because even if a villain turns good and is like "hey, I was the Electrocutioner, but call me Sam now" it's easier to think of them as their villain name first imo, because that's how they are introduced, and they spend most of their on-screen time as a villain, and only get reformed towards the end.

i have seen the movie there is no separate designs for the names. in end of movie she just points out that tempest shadow is not her actual name and then reveals her real name. its one single character with fake name and real name.

It would make more sense to do that (aliasing I mean), but what about the tag that already exists? I have been trying to make sure all the posts had both, but I didn't start the tag. A lot of tempest posts had both so it bothered me. But now that I think about it I think the fizzlepop berrytwist tag should be used for when the character is portrayed as taking place after the movie instead of her edgy commander look. Oops, now I dunno what to do about the tag. Sorry :(

Nah I meant like when it's obvious that it takes place after the movie. Like all those of her with a different hairstyle or interacting with the mane 6 in a positive way like she's reformed and no longer the commander she was. Tempest Shadow would be like you usually see her in armor, but Fizzlepop would be like post #1464646 or post #1438071 That would be stupid if it was just based on being happy or not

Yeah, I havn't watched the movie, but I like occasionally uploading cute ponies when I see them. I wouldn't have a clue if something happened "off camera' during the movie, before the movie or after.

Watching media shouldn't be a requirement.

I mean, I could GUESS for that first pic, but the second? I dunno, I can't tell anything. maybe that happened before the movie. I don't know what her backstory is.

Those look exactly the same as any other depiction of her. There's no "obviously not a villain" to them whatsoever.

sure, there is pictures that can be put in "obviously villain" and "obviously not villain", but massive chunk of the posts cannot be divided in one category just like that. there is way too much subjectivity and gray area here for splitting all that into two character tags.

Oh well then. It was an unnecessary tag to begin with, it should be aliased to it instead. The second post I linked would go well with the fizzlepop tag since it has her fan given cutie mark, but the majority of them will be like the one I just posted
