Topic: tag format for things in specific movie (or other work) with tag including year

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

What should the format (ie. style) of tag be for something from a specific film, where we should specify the year of the film/work.
(when there are various works with the same name).

example #1:
one tag was avatar_("wizards"_1977). While post #158923 did include a character from the 1977 film named Wizards, the character in image was named Necron 99 (character name changed to Peace partway through film). Removed tag avatar_("wizards"_1977) from 158923 ; it was already tagged with necron_99.

example #2: kennel_thing_(the_thing_1982).

Should tag style be
1) THING_("MOVIE"_year), like avatar_("wizards"_1977)
OR
2) THING_(MOVIE_year), like kennel_thing_(the_thing_1982)
???

By the way,
I tagged robot (butler?) (in post #158923 , near top-right corner)
as robot_(sleeper_film)
because didn't realize there were various movies named Sleeper.
and now I'm not sure which tag style to go with.

(Robot from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleeper_(1973_film) )

(There are at least four films named Sleeper:
Sleeper (1973), directed by Woody Allen.
Sleeper (2005), directed by Benjamin Heisenberg.
Sleeper (2012) (aka Outback Revenge), directed by Dru Brown.
Sleeper (2017), directed by Philippe Gagnon.)

Personally, I would argue for:

character_(movie_year)

the quotes seem unnecessary, all said, and " is not commonly used in tags, except in tags like "honest"_john_foulfellow
