Topic: Girly Male guidelines?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

So where's the boundary between girly male and ambiguous_gender/female?

Is it the presence of a large bulge/genitals?

I've noticed most girly tagged pictures have the wide hips/narrow shoulders typical of a female figure rather than a male.

tits = female
tits + penis = dickgirl
penis and no tits, but female figure = girly male

Edit: to be fair, it gets a bit more complex than that, but that's a basic look at it.

And female figure with no dick and questionable tits?

Iffy, but if there's no evidence of a penis, generally female.
Can you give some examples?
Would make it easier to see exactly what you're looking at, so we can be sure we're giving the right advice.

Ah, sure. How do I post pictures again?

EDIT: never mind, got it.

thumb #
then the number in the address bar of the post page, no space between the # and the number
Can also do post #
That's just a text link, not a thumbnail.

Yeah, I found the help page and updated the post.

As you can see, I edited the second one to female, but I'm not completely sure I was right.

1 and 4 are male because there's some suggestion of balls/penis in the underwear region.
3 I'd tag female for sure, because we don't tag what the text says, for all we know it's a slutty girl that's claiming to be a boy just to be a perv in the boy's room
2 is tough, I'd probably lean towards female, more feminine than masculine, definitely could be a flat chested girl.

Hence why they're girly, right? Though I don't view having thunder thighs and such as a requirement; a slim build with soft features and a feminine face can be enough to qualify as a girly male (or perhaps not explicitely girly, but it's the only tag we can work with and as such the closest). It really kind of depends.

Crossdressing by the way also helps towards the tag, though on its own it's obviously not enough (like when a clearly masculine male does it).

And regarding the boundary, if the picture in question has no visible indication (or at least implication) of someone being male it should always be tagged as either ambiguous_gender and in some rare cases even female.

Like this:

The next one here's pretty difficult however, and depends on whether textual information can be taken into account (of which I actually am not sure):

There's no visual indication of this being a trap, but the text does suggest it.

Oh, and like I said in the comment section of that Fangdangler pic of Powfoo, in my opinion that panty bulge is pretty instantly recognizable as a ballsack, also considering that a vagina wouldn't bulge out that much and that there's two highlights slightly revealing rounded shapes.

But perhaps that could just be me. I thought it wasn't really questionable so I tagged the thing with girly.

We don't include contextual information of written text because of ambiguity.

Also, I've seen plenty vaginas drawn to be that bulgy, unfortunately. It's rather prevalent in hentai.

Nah, vagina doesn't hang like that, with the underwear the way it is, that's balls.

Alright.

Though... on a related note, does that mean I can still tag "dirty_talk" when that's the case? Since it's not contextual info but purely based around the text itself?

Because that's a really useful tag to some (or so I can imagine), yet woefully underused and I've started incorporating it into my game lately to help counter that a bit.

If you're tagging info about the text itself, sure. Like english_text, joke etc.

Oh not saying that THAT is a vagina. Just saying that I've seen them hang that low. Usually when they do so it's with severe camel toe, so you can tell it's not balls.
