Topic: Tag Alias: leather_belt -> belt

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Saying that a belt is leather is redundant or too specific? Just asking. I'm indifferent.

I generally support the leather tag and breaking it out into smaller tags, though.

Of the other leather_[item] tags, leather_harness is probably as redundant/specific as leather_belt.

Should the various *belt* tags all imply belt or are they better left separate?
Only utility_belt does currently.

Yeah, plus one.
I don't like material tags in general, those tend to be too hard to tag. (By the way, most belts that are sold as 'leather' are just PVC or coated polyester/cotton.)

Although, what's the tag for machine belts? I remember seeing some of those tagged as belt, wouldn't figure out where to move them.
