Tag suffixes are there for disambiguation, not for indicating ownership.

Also it's clearly Annie the red hare, no? The character is a hare.

While true, if I see a picture Demicoeur drew of this annie, and I"m looking at the tag list trying to find 'the right' annie to pick, I'm not going to look at one tagged with another person's name. And I"d probably tag Annie_(Demicoeur).

Pondering related to Annie_(Demicoeur) as tag:

Hmm. Well post #652803 was tagged with annie_(demicoeur),
its replacement (post #669916 ) started with just plain annie tag,
then 6months later tag changed from annie to annie_(theredhare).

Quick search with FA search
1) searching for theredhare AND annie gets 132 matches
and
2) searching for demicoeur AND annie gets 75 matches.

Difference in numbers probably in part because of uploads such as

where artist lists theredhare as commissioner ... and artist probably too busy to mention the co-owner of the character. (or maybe too busy to know there was a co-owner)
