Sounds like it might be a hardware problem, have you tried rebooting? Have you tried another browser?

Did't chrome pull flash support at least partially already? Might need to find a stand-alone player.

Click the "Secure" button up at the top on a page with flash, click on the "Flash" option and click "Always allow"
