Topic: Tag Implication: casual_nudity -> nude

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

-1,

Having such an implication would be convenient, unfortunately casual_nudity is also used for partially clothed characters. So implicating it to nude would cause several posts to be incorrectly tagged with nude when they should instead be tagged with mostly_nude or another similar tag.

I felt it important to note, the wiki for casual_nudity doesn't cover if the tag should or should not be applied to partially clothed characters.

Yeah, mostly_nude posts already get mistagged as nude a lot.

I feel like it's fine to have mostly_nude as well as bottomless/topless posts in casual_nudity since having casually_topless, casually_bottomless, etc. dosn't seem needed.

The wiki already mentions that it's for nude characters. If the character is clothed, they're not nude.

For instance, Donald Duck isn't 'casually nude' even though he doesn't wear pants.

The correct tag for that is casual_exposure, but it is commonly mis-tagged as casual_nudity.

Should partially clothed characters currently tagged with casual_nudity be changed to casual_exposure? And what should be done for social_nudity? Should casual_nudity and casual_exposure both be applied to social_nudity, or should only casual_nudity be applied to social_nudity?

Yes, that's what casual_exposure is for

Add a new tag called social_exposure. I'll start moving applicable posts to social_exposure if people agree
Then we can imply social_nudity -> casual_nudity, casual_nudity -> nude, and social_exposure -> casual_exposure

(yes sorry for the necro but I figured if I made a new thread people would've just linked me to this one pff. These are like my favorite tags to browse so I'd really love to help get them cleaned up and implicated)

I still don't think casual_nudity shoud imply nude, even when casual_exposure now exists (I'm not sure if it did back then, I was at least unaware of it if it did). probably not for other various states of undress like I had said 5 years ago, but I still believe that it should likely apply to mostly_nude characters.
