Topic: Human Only Marked as Irrelevant?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Not that I care that my post was deleted by some admin, to be honest it would have never gained traction here anyway due to it being safe. But I question the motive behind its deletion, the reason given being "human only/irrelevant".

So we are just going to ignore the various anime characters, video game characters and the work of Houtengeki to pick on the little guy, eh? Fine work you guys. But I can look up the tags "human solo" and find plenty of posts that you missed.

So is there hypocrisy or just a lack of caring in the admin department?

The post in question was 1564373 if that makes any difference.

That particular image looks like she's just wearing a techno-suit with mechanical wings and halo magnetically held away from it.

We don't retroactively delete images over new rules, meaning there's a lot under human solo that was here before the rule change and will stay in, known as "Grandfathering." Also grandfathering is better quality replacements to those images.

And if it's part of a pool that's relevant to furries, it's acceptable too.

The human-only posts you find on this website generally fall into one of three categories.

The first is if they are part of an otherwise relevant comic or image set.
The second is that they are an improved version of an older post. And the third is if they are an older post.

The human-only rule change did not apply retroactively, to avoid punishing people for uploading what was, at the time, acceptable images, and so any older image gets grandfathered in.

So, it's neither hypocrisy nor lack of caring (and perhaps you ought to have asked for clarification BEFORE deciding to call others hypocrites).

Now given, sometimes, rarely, images slip through the cracks - if you can find any human-only images which have been uploaded recently and which are not improved versions of older posts or part of some larger work (image set, comic, etc.), feel free to mention them.

I'll just point out that human solo is an inappropriate search. It contains a lot of transformation sequences into anthros or ferals; or humans with animal genitalia. These are site-relevant per the uploading guidelines

human_only -animal_genitalia returns results that are actually only human (mostly; there is some ambiguity in the case of body-suits).

The search human_only speciestags:2 -animal_genetalia inpool:false isparent:false seems to have a pretty high hit-rate for stuff that doesn't seem to be site-relevant.

Example:

I don't know if there's a better way to exclude posts which are the result of replacing an older image than isparent:false. I wish there were a tag that indicated that a post was grandfathered in or something.

Those are tagged as humanoid, which is even mentioned in the uploading guidelines.
human_only animal_genitalia should return zero hits (since dildos and such don't get genitalia tags).
