Topic: [Discussion] Specific Hyper Tag Thresholds

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

It seems as though there's some disagreement over what exactly constitutes hyper anatomy (e.g. post #1574239). While the wiki entries for hyper_balls and hyper_penis do provide specific thresholds, some people in the discord dispute their legitimacy. It would be nice for there to be a consensus, or at least a ruling, on what 'hyper' really means in terms of specific anatomical proportions.

Personally from most of the hyper_penis posts I've seen, I consider hyper to be anything that reaches from the groin area up to or past the breastbone. Anything that falls below the belly I think should be tagged huge_penis. As for hyper_balls, anything that is slightly over the size of the character's head (i.e post #1574177) should be tagged with hyper_balls while posts with the balls smaller then the head (i.e post #1574527) shouldn't be tagged that way

That is what I'd also go with, though it doesn't match the current wiki entries.
The size descriptors in the wiki have crept up edit by edit. For instance, huge_penis has gone from 'thicker than wrist' to 'thicker than half of the character's chest'.

A lot work was put into the breast-sizes, so maybe we could use similar scale as a standard for other parts too. Except balls are normally much smaller than breasts, so those sizes can't be used 1:1. Therefore balls that are almost as large as the character's head are huge, and anything larger than that is hyper?

I have no ideas for how to tag the penis sizes. There's too many different shapes, and the length varies a lot by species, which makes size comparisons problematic.
