You can subscribe to tag searches via RSS feed, this might be similar to what you're looking for.

Alternatively, if you go to "my account" up in the upper left, then "settings"... you can scroll down to the "user profile" section.. you can use the "about me" section to collect some of your favorite artists or searches there.

enclosing a tag in {{curly brackets}} turns it into a search ... so if you wanna keep up with, say lonbluewolf, aogami and marsminer ... you could type:

to get lonbluewolf aogami marsminer

(though really, do something like this: {{lonbluewolf}} | {{aogami}} | {{marsminer}} and save yourself some trouble.

or if you have favorite searches:

works!
{{user:SnowWolf}} works!
{{user:SnowWolf feline}} works!

Could also combine searches into one, such as {{~lonbluewolf ~aogami ~marsminer}} so that you just get a single search for all three at once.
