I have penis on the brain today and I was thinking about the different kinds of wieners of our animals friends. It occurred to me that a lot of creatures share two common traits without sharing the same species or even the same genetic superorder.
I'm talking about our hooved friends, horses and cows and deer and such. Almost exclusively, they all have a large, club-headed, flared penis.
After an unpleasant series of Google searches sure to come back to haunt me some day, I have verified:
The following are true:
Horse (equine)
Cow/Buffalo/Wildebeest (bovine)
Deer/Antelope/Elk/Moose/Reaindeer (cervine)
Sheep/Ram (caprine)
Giraffe/Okapi (giraffidine)
and only found two exceptions:
Goat (also caprine)
Pig/Boar (suine) (I always thought this was 'porcine- - must be an unofficial term)
When I started this I was going to suggest all hooved creatures be implicated to ungulate_penis since it's so nearly universal, but since I've got two strong exceptions i'm going to recommend that all applicable peens be implicated to the existing flared_penis tag. So, that would involve this mixture of both used and unused tags:
equine_penis
horse_penis
bull_penis
bovine_penis
bovid_penis
deer_penis
buck_penis
elk_penis
moose_penis
cervine_penis
cervid_penis
ram_penis (i don't think anyone would ever use 'sheep_penis')
giraffe_penis
'caprid/caprine' and should not be implicated because because it includes goats who have more of a fencing-foil member.
This implication would help the horse cock lovers who don't know the term 'flared_penis' (I didn't even know it until today and that's unusual) and want to see all the big club-headed dongs they can find without having to search for every species that might have one. Also, it's educational!
p.s. there is also the tag vacuum_penis - it doesn't need to be implicated to anything, just, more people need to know about it.
p.p.s. I was also going to do a list of creatures with canine penises but then I found the existing tag fossa_penis. Changed my life.
