Reason:

Species clarification for firebird_(species) seems unnecessary: there are no other tags that say firebird alone to confuse it with. I'm making the suggestion for firebird(species), however, because attempting to do so firebird_(species) shows an error message that says it is already aliased to something.

Also, the reason you can't request the proper alias is because of the above. The site also considers pending aliases as "aliased" terms, it's best to just search the forum or the alias request list.

I had placed the species suffix on it to differentiate it from things such as the Pontiac vehicle firebird. But if people feel that isn't used as much in comparison, the suffix could be removed
