The end goal is seemingly the same result when this tag is used

pine_trees > pine_tree plural

-1; In the same way that not all fingers are thumbs, not all striped tails are tiger tails.
Would +1 if it were an implication, though; All tiger tails do indeed appear to be striped.

If it isn't striped than it is just a regular tail of average length.

Those "ringtail" tails are striped tails. They're just not irregular like tiger stripes.
