Topic: Posts got deleted for not being approved for 30 days

Posted under General

Hey, so 5 of my posts got automatically deleted because they were not approved for 30 days since I posted them.
I didn't get my other posts approved either until I made a post asking how long it usually takes to be approved...

Am I able to get the posts back if they are approved?

All I will say is that I did see those posts in queue, but those looked entirely regular humans.

If you look at your deleted posts, you can see which individual mod deleted them. You can then send them a message if you personally feel they were deleted by mistake. Note that the automod is a bot, so you should message another mod if you saw automoderator deleted the post

Either way, posts deleted by automod tend to not fit the site standards or probably have conflicting approvals from mods to the point that they're undecided as to whether approve or not, so they may not have fit up to site standards anyways.

Mairo said they looked too human to fit so that's probably why they were deleted.

Do you mean the alien in my posts? I don't think she looks like a human at all... Also all my posts are about her, so idk...

It says that it was an automatic removal from not being authorized for over 30 days.

Mairo found the character in question and in context to look too human in those specified posts, so he let them decay and the automod deleted them.

What confuses me is that it's the same character that is in my approved posts, just in a Halloween costume... I don't understand how black skin, antenna, and pupil-less yellow eyes are considered human...

Posts are judged by a contextual TWYS system; it doesn't matter if they look non-human in other posts, what matters is the context of the current post. The current posts in question probably looked not non-human enough to count, or was easy to misinterpret as simply humans with a fantasy skin color. Skin color being fantastically different doesn't automatically make a character non-human enough anymore, as TWYS standards in regards to not-furry-but-not-human-either-so-it-stays content. That's why you don't see a lot of steven universe stuff anymore unless the character has wings or other definitive non-human characteristics

The character in question has obvious antennae in post #1710813, just like in the approved ones. The other ones look more humanlike, and I suppose the antennae might be considered to be part of the hat. I'd still tag them as humanoid.

Not the issue with these ones. The character in question has obvious antennae in the deleted posts, just like in the approved ones.

Ahhh I see. Well in that case, maybe @Flipface4 should PM a mod about this and possibly get it reverted, if they so desire.

Yeah, it's antennae which made that character humanoid instead of human and in deleted posts it's not clear if those are part of hat or character.
