Topic: Missing tags: solo solo_focus duo duo_focus group comic

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Hello everyone,

I've recently discovered a lot of images are missing some very obvious tags: solo, solo_focus, duo, duo_focus, group, and comic.

Sadly, the amount of images without these very obvious tags increases every day (by quite a lot, even).
These tags don't have the highest priority, but they make searching for character counts much easier.

The tag string I use to find untagged images can be found in the title:

-solo -solo_focus -duo -duo_focus -group -comic

There's still several hundreds of pages untagged, so I hope some of you will be up for a tagging challenge.

Thanks in advance!

Updated

I have a list of a couple of these 'obvious tags' that, and with the help of the API, I have been going through at maximum rate. Does anyone have more of these 'simple and straightforward tags'? I know one of the staff did on their page.

I'd release my code, but nobody really uses Mathematica for API work, no matter how nice it is.

This is one of the reason why I requested that new upload form would have this as button option, so it would be more obvious.

Also I guess finding comics without comic tag should be easier with inpool:true -comic. Also as this is something that's extremely clear from thumbnail already, someone privileged+ could help with this really fast.

I've put comic in the list of tags because those images are pretty ambiguous when it comes to character count. I'm not specifically looking for comics. Your tag string seems like a good idea though!

Another straightforward tag is *background. Images lacking a coloured, simple, plain, gradient, checked, etc. background tag can be found this way. I don't think background colour is anyone's fetish, but it makes finding specific images a lot easier.
