maybe alias both to drumstick_(disambiguation) and go through manually to see which to use.

i agree with splitting the tags as described by JAKXXX3.

I tried to suggest alias of drumstick -> drumstick_(disambiguation)
but got error message "Error: drumstick is already aliased to something".

(EDIT: technically it isn't aliased, so the alias the error message is referring to would be the alias suggestion that started this thread (drumstick -> drumsticks))

Plain tag of drumstick is mix of (1) the musical tool and (2) the food.

There is also the third drumstick tag:
drumstick_(diddy_kong_racing)

In this thread tags of drumstick_(food) and drumstick_(instrument) were suggested.

I like drumstick_(food) tag,
but how about the musical tag be
drumstick_(musical_instrument) ??

Yeah, a disambiguation of drumstick and drumsticks sounds like a good idea to me, though each variation would probably need to be manually reassigned. I also like the wording for drumstick_(musical_instrument) since there are plenty of other *musical_instrument* tags out there. Below is a revised list of the alias suggestions.
