this artist doesn't even use the name "Darky". the only place they've used "Darky" alone is the username of their now inactive pillowfort account and that account's bio even says "The drawing pit of Darky03" and every other instance has the "03" appended, so darky03 would seem to be the preferred tag.
also just darky on it's own seems really generic to me. looking at the history of the tag being removed, there's other artists that have similar names, and there's a bunch of characters that have used the name. it's also like -- a racial slur, but that's kinda whatever.
