Topic: Tag Alias: sun_rays -> crepuscular_rays

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Doesn't the word "crepuscular" technically apply only when the sun is near the horizon, i.e. during the crepuscular (dawn or dusk) time of day? I don't think it refers to the sun breaking through clouds while it's closer to the meridian. It's the scattering of light by the atmosphere during twilight rather than clouds.

okay uhh

1. in future make one implication and edit the related implications under the reason

2. this is bad alias because sun rays is often used to refer literally any kind of sun glare that doesnt necessarily have anything to do with clouds or sun breaking through anything (you know the cartoon suns with yellow stripes or spikes surrounding them? yeah)

3. god_rays -> crepuscular_rays alias is bad because god ray is often used to refer for example light doing the thing through gaps between leafs of a forest or the gaps between blinds. that is very different thing from "sun breaking through clouds"
