Different tags, same object.

Side note: Most of these should be tagged as swim_ring instead. When I think inner tube... tires come to mind.

uhh maybe implication, but not alias. life rings are specific and very recognizable type of swim rings

More for the side note, but I'd say +1 to implying/aliasing inner_tube to swim_ring. Looking through all the posts, I don't think there's one post where inner_tube is used for a tyre.
Edit:
I just posted a suggestion for implying inflatable_ring to swim_ring, which I think would be better. I suppose there isn't much difference between a black swim_ring and an inner_tube, and that the tag just needs cleaning up a bit to remove inner_tube tag from the non-black rings.
