EDIT: The tag alias star_trek_the_animated_series -> star_trek (forum #207419) has been rejected by @Rainbow_Dash.

Is this going anywhere? The implication of the cartoon's character M'ress to the cartoon's tag (in forum #206950) stalled because of talk about this alias, and this has been sitting for two years now.

Rejected why? Intentions of implying instead?

I'd think it better it be implied rather than aliased as it is a valid part of the Star Trek franchise with characters and species (almost) exclusive to it, one of whom is quite popular in the fandom.

Why even use the pipe in that case, you could just use [[Star Trek]] and get the right link: Star Trek

yeah, but like, we don't do that for any other series of Star Trek, and, honestly, there's only really one character from TAS that's going to get posted here, everything that's tagged star_trek_the_animated_series -m'ress is kinda questionable whether it really deserves that tag anyway since they're mostly just characters in the style of TAS and the style of TAS and TOS are pretty much identical. meaning that star_trek_the_animated_series and m'ress are essentially just the same tag.
