I'd have to give a -1 to Fae Dragon. I see those around in things that have nothing to do with Flight Rising.

In addition to fae_dragon, see also:

  • faerie_dragon (49 posts - Largely, but not exclusively based off of the fairy dragon from WoW)
  • fairy_dragon (10 posts - random assortment of dragon-oids, some of which seem to have nothing fairy about them: post #1281097

fae dragon, by the way, has 18 posts, and I am... pretty sure they're all from flight rising, except one.

I'm not arguing for or against the implication, just saying that the tags a a bit messy, but actaly not too bad.

anyway:

I think my vote is for tag clean up, then put the varies fae/faerie/fairy dragons under franchise specific tags -- fae_dragon_(D&D) etc

I still think fae_dragon is probably fine as is, but...

Guardian Dragon is a Dark Souls 2 boss among other things.

of 22 guardian dragon posts, 4 are dark souls related.. all the rest are from flight rising.

Should be faerie_dragon_(d&d), since it's never been called Fae Dragon in the franchise. Though that'd be hard to tag, it has a different look in every edition.

Ah, my post went through a lot of half assed permutations before i sent it.

I started with some hair brained idea of aliasing every combination to the right tags: so fairy_dragon_(D&D), fae_dragon_(D&D) etc all alias to faerie_dragon_(D&D), so tat as long as people get the franchise right, they can get to the right tag thoguht the magic of aliases.

But that shit's complicated, and i THINK that was a leftover of that. mah bad :)

Anyway: thinking baout it a day or two later: I think I'd prefer that all of the flight rising dragons have _(FR) or something in their tag names-- being more specific is not bad.

You make a good point here, I'd just have to do some retagging.
