Just noticed all of whygena's art got deleted. Is there a story behind that?

Takedown reason says they just didn't want their art on e621 anymore, so I assume they just don't want to keep up with uploads outside of their management (aka like a gallery), which imho is pretty understandable and not too uncommon of a reason.

That's my best guess for reasoning, anyways.

Whygena just pulled the plug too, removing my example from both sides of my tug-of-war argument around androgynous character tagging drama.

This is the weirdest case of mutually-assured-destruction I've ever documented.

Because Whygena got messages about the admins being flamed over the Reggie tagging 'issue'

I imagine he's of the mind to give the mods a break more like. flat states he did not actually care on that part of the tagging.

I think literally everybody would prefer that art stay on the site. e621 mods are gonna get shit on for some reason or another every day.

*asking for free art makes you (look like) a selfish asshole.

Shame. I mean, I can't speak for them, but the mods would likely have preferred him to keep his stuff here. You can ban the idiot white knights, it's more sad to lose good art.
