Basically, the bestiality tag is absolutely filled with non bestiality, as in animals having sex with animals. The tag should be kept strictly to either human x feral or humanoid x feral, and even the second one creates some potential issues with humanoid animals. What options are there for fixing this up? At the very least, the vast amount of feral x feral images should have the bestiality tag removed.

bestiality -human -humanoid -anthro -taur brings up around 200-300 or so posts. I don't think there's a problem with the bestiality tag in itself, just a bunch of posts that need their tags fixed

If you want humans having sex with animals, you can use the human_on_feral tag. The bestiality tag is more general and encompasses a few other things as well.

If anthro x feral and taur x feral count as bestiality, then human x anthro and human x taur shouldn't then correct? Or anthro x taur or humanoid x humanoid etc, but if you just look through the bestiality tag you'll see that there are countless times the tag is being misused. And there are tons of cases where it's unclear whether an OC should be counted as anthro or feral. Basically, just looking through the bestiality tag shows how much non bestiality is labeled as bestiality. That's the issue I'm trying to bring up. There needs to be some clarification on what is and isn't bestiality, especially with this being a primarily furry site.

Literally all the clarification needed is written in tag wikis. Read them. If you want to see only human on feral content, then search for human_on_feral.
