Topic: Tag Implication: two_tone_fur -> two_tone_body

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Implicating two_tone_fur → two_tone_body
Link to implication

Reason:

two_tone_scales -> two_tone_body
two_tone_skin -> two_tone_body

multicolored_fur -> multicolored_body
multicolored_scales -> multicolored_body
multicolored_skin -> multicolored_body

striped_skin -> striped_body
striped_fur -> striped_body
striped_scales -> striped_body

spotted_fur -> spotted_body
spotted_skin -> spotted_body
spotted_scales -> spotted_body

I think implicating these specific tags to the general tag and using them as umbrellas would be good as some people are just interested in characters with stripes, spots, multicolored ect. So implicating to the latter would increase the results for characters with the various body makeup

The body tags are supposed to be generic, though, for when you can't determine the substance, and I think implicating fur tags to body tags is... quite weird.

But I mean, when it comes to filtering and searching and people forget what body style something is, having a base *_body tag for it would be intensely helpful imho

I get, and can appreciate that the _body tags were originally just for undeterminable posts, but to be fair it would still apply with the implications to it. As the implications would increase the content in the tag.

Kind of like how "hair" still applies when you can't tell the color of the hair due to monochrome, or the general tags for scales, fur, ect. The ambiguity of it I think was originally just because people couldn't tell what to specify but it wouldn't hurt for a full coverage.

honestly i think that the *_body tags should be used as blanket tag for the body covering tags. it would make searching stuff a lot easier.

i mean if i remember that i saw picture of some character that was green. i cant remember if it was green_feathers, green_body, green_scales or green_skin. i cannot search for green_* because it would include shit like green_eyes or green_penis, and having to include ~green_feathers ~green_body ~green_scales ~green_skin is just plain obnoxious and caps the search limit really easily.

bumping, as I still believe this to be a very beneficial update to the tag system

Bumping, also including the fact of say a character has both
two_tone_fur and a third color for say skin, than multicolored body applies.
