The tag 'interior' is practically identical to 'inside' (durr, one is Latin, the other Germanic, durr), but isn't aliased to it. I attempted to make a suggestion to do that and got an error stating that the tag interior is already aliased to something. But, checking its page, it is not aliased to anything. What is going on?

That means that an alias has already been suggested for it.

There is, on forum #208443 (a suggestion for aliasing interior -> inside as well).

And nothing's come from that after two years because... I guess someone could mistake interior and internal?

There's been a few threads on this recently, but the wiki only lists active aliases/impliations. If you get that error it's better to search the "tag aliases" page instead:

Red/orange entries are ones that have been suggested but not actually approved yet.

You can get to that by clicking "Tags" in the top bar then "Aliases."

It's probably fine to be aliased, but there's a possibility that the view can be from outside and also contain an interior, like having a scene in a pool with some glass doors, letting you see an interior.

Overall I think the tag's just used just to mean inside, so it's probably still ok to alias it.

If anyone can help, I'm getting the same error trying to suggest aliasing milfcatty_(kyaramerucocoa) to michelle_catty_(kyaramerucocoa).

I checked here but there's not any pending suggestions

This is because milfcatty_(mortal_chocolate) is aliased to milfcatty_(kyaramerucocoa). You cannot alias a tag away if something is aliased to it.
