Reason:

EDIT: The tag alias above_waist -> half-length_portrait (forum #277088) has been rejected by @furrypickle.

The tag seems to be unused, and sounds a little too vague for aliases like this.

Against. Might get tagged for multi-character posts, or other things that aren't portraits.

I hadn't realized that portraits were for solo posts only. I'm not objecting to it, just that the wikis don't seem to make any direct mention of the portrait tags only being for a solo character (apart from the 'related tags' section featuring a link to solo).

Should I make an update for the wikis to address this? Something that directly states that 'these tags are for posts featuring a solo character only'?

Not strictly for solo, but group shots need to quality as portraits. Group of characters posing for a portrait counts, group of characters having an orgy doesn't. Because otherwise portrait would be taggable for absolutely everything ^{_{(well, except zero_pictured)}}.

That's good. I was a bit worried I had mistagged some portrait posts in the past that featured more than one character in them. Unless something else needs to be updated on the portrait wikis, I guess it is now a moot point.
