But what if it's the actual, humanoid Doctor? This is a bad implication.

Bad alias. There are other characters named doctor_who on this site that aren't MLP related

It's worse - he suggests alias.
I wouldn't be surprised if some bronies actually think that Doctor Who is humanized pony character. Bronies...

Alias denied as the human doctor is not a pony

I looked at doctor_who tag, and I think that its type should be changed to copyright instead. And maybe there should be doctor_who_(character) tag created.

I think this is a good idea and makes sense. The copyright tag is a bit underused.

ya, docter_who_(character) would be good as well as doctor_who_(doctor_who)

oh, and my mistake; i thought there were two of the same tag

I've discovered that there is the_doctor character tag, so I've changed doctor_who to copyright. But I'm not really feel competent enough to tag character tag since I haven't watch a single episode of this show. Nevertheless I think that tags like first_doctor may be a bit too specific.

Basically this in an infinite number of nutshells.

Technically "Doctor Who" should be copyright, "The Doctor" should be the character tag, as his "name" isn't "Doctor who" its just "The Doctor."

Is that the joke? They call him "The Doctor", so people say "The doctor? Doctor who?".

Not really a joke, but yeah, that's why the show is called "Doctor Who".

It's more of a running gag in the series; he'll say his name is "The Doctor" People will ask either "Doctor Who" or "Doctor of What" or something to that effect. S'not really a joke though, but the doctor is "The Doctor",
