  • I'm wondering if a group of tags like gem_ring and gem_necklace would be useful for tagging 'a specific jewelry-object (necklace, ring, etc.) with a set in gem' and use those for the various <gem>_ring and <gem>_necklace tags. Keep in mind, I haven't listed gem_ring or gem_necklace at all in the list above, as I'm still uncertain if these tags would be of any use.
  • I also noticed that pearls is simultaneously aliased and implicated to pearl_(gem) for some reason.

There's probably more I can add to here, but that will have to wait for some other time. For now, I must rest... My hands, my hands are burning!

Concerning "forehead items", I've seen this type of jewelry before, but I have no idea what the proper term for it is. It seems to be tagged as headdress, but I don't think that's accurate. circlet may be more appropriate, but the circlets I've seen are fairly rigid, whereas the examples below appear to be fairly loose like a necklace.

It's pretty much just a necklace for your forehead. If a proper term for it doesn't already exist for this specific form of jewelry, should we make one? The only thing that I can think of that is explicitly clear is foreheadlace, though something like headlace or even forelace could work too.

I could be wrong, but circlet seems like the correct tag for those. Though those do seem to be more loose than the standard rigid circlets. (Assuming those examples are circlets) I'm thinking loose_circlet or necklace_circlet could be a good subset tag of the standard circlet.

hmm yeah, head adornments might be in need of a bit of diversity. atm probably either circlet or tiara. diadem might be slightly better since it seems to be more inclusive of non-rigid, necklace-y head adornments however it was aliased to tiara. tiara, crown, and circlet seem to be the only prominent tags for jewelry worn on the head...

and then I image searched forehead_jewelry, the results were closer than anything I saw for tiara related images. forehead_chain is probably a good term for the jewelry in those pics.

personally, I'd probably implicate, instead of alias, forehead_jewel -> forehead_jewelry since it seems to be more descriptive of a single jewel in the middle of a character's forehead... but yeah forehead_jewelry should probably be a thing.
