Topic: Is there a way to 'mass-edit' tags?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

For the 'Arthur' cartoon, Arthur and D.Ws last name is misspelled (it's 'Read', not 'Reed') and I was wondering if there was a faster way than going through every image.

"Edit posts" mode will let you edit a post's tags while going through pages, and that's the best you'll get without a privileged account or writing a bot.
An alias would be the go-to answer for dealing with misspellings, though.

File an alias request so it will be replaced automatically. Any large scale mispellings should be aliased.

There's a mass tag edit, but it's admin only. You should probably suggest an alias, so that anything tagged with the wrong tag gets replaced with the new one.

Under the Tags tab on the top bar, Aliases then Suggest.

If approved it applies to posts already uploaded and new posts as well, it's also a bit better than the mass edit as if someone later tags the incorrect version, it'll automatically be corrected.
