ah, I made that the other day. soft_abs is it's own appearance. the impetus was I was tired of seeing feminine athletic characters with obviously developed but padded midsections without a tag for what that looks like. the abs tag is almost exclusively used for defined 6-packs so the implication would probably mess that up unless someone wants to make a 6-pack tag for what "abs" is currently and then dilute the heck out of the abs tag... yeah, I'm probably against that.

The abs tag generally is designed to cover any kind of muscle definition from the abdominal muscles, not "six-packs". Im aware i do refer to them in the wiki but dont state them as being a requirement for muscle definition. Of course that wiki definition was last edited at all almost 3 years ago, so it could use a update to clarify that.
As such i do not think it would mess up the tag, not any more then the big_pecs tag does the pecs tag, which means not at all since both are referring to the muscles, just big_pecs or your soft_abs refer to a particular type of expression of the muscles(think in the sense of races or breeds being a subclass of a species, soft_abs is simply a subclass of abs).

I'm cool with that. i just like having a tag that means "legit 6-pack" as well.
so maybe:
un-alias 6-pack(or tag of your choice)
v
move all the pics tagged abs to 6-pack
v
implicate soft_abs and 6-pack to abs
...
that way abs is what it was designed to be plus there are still specific tags for soft_abs and 6-pack appearances. thoughts?
