Topic: [Heterosexual] For the ones that are into this: Why more animal-like penises in FPP and gangbang images help you immerse yourselves into male/female anthro-on-anthro fantasies?

Posted under Art Talk

I recently bumped into male/female images that feature equine anthros (particularly horse anthros) as the male partner (I'm mainly talking about Bonk's images about the nameless bunny girl with ginger red hair who's riding horse penises), but it really turns me off, so I blacklisted animal-like penises. Why? Because I can only insert myself into the role of the male having sex with the female if the male of the image is human or he's the part of a species that this species' penis is human-like (because it makes me feel like I am the one who's doing this with the girl in the picture, because it keeps my life goal, Furtopia going inside my soul). In short, it's not my cup of tea or any male/female anthro-on-anthro stuff that features animal-like penises. But I still would like to know from those who enjoy this specific kind of yiff what is so arousing about it for them. I still would like to understand the other furries in this community to help all of you get along with me.

Why do you prefer animal-like penises? How does it help you immerse yourselves into anthro-on-anthro yiff? Why do you prefer them in heterosexual anthro-on-anthro images over human-like penises?

I would like to know that why there's so goddamn many people who are into ponies, but only if they are 99% human ponies and only the humans head is changed into pony head.

Right now there's thousands of posts where if I cropped the head out, it would be regular human porn.

So I'm not exactly heterosexual (it's complicated), and also I've got a mixed relationship with anthro art (it's also complicated), but in some ways I'm close enough so I'll answer. Particularly because I can empathize: I also find other people's sexuality to be interesting, why people like what they like and all that (as long as it doesn't involve me, anyway).

So to actually get to the question, first of all, it's entirely possible to enjoy pornography without it being a self-insert fantasy. It's not always as simple as "substitute [self] for [character], engage fantasy".

Besides that, self-insertion doesn't necessarily require substituting everything in the picture. I don't typically pay all that much attention to penises in general, since my interests are strongly oriented towards females. So it might just not be an important aspect of the image to begin with. There's probably lots of elements that you are able to ignore in images you like - location, lighting, temperature, dialogue, etc., as possible examples - because they just aren't all that important.

Beyond that though, I've never really had any issue with substituting myself (or elements of myself) in terms of fantasy. Now admittedly I'm a bit of a weird case here. I've got a substantial interest in transformation art and such, and my own experience with my sex and gender is a catastrophic mess. But I don't see any particular issue with imagining myself with a totally different body than the one I've got.

Also just as an aside, I think human penises are generally pretty ugly, particularly when put on nonhuman characters. So from a purely aesthetic standpoint, I prefer animal penises on anthros anyway.

Isn't heterosexual the thing with different coloured eyes? How is that relevant to who is fucking who?
