So I've created my artist tag "undeadponysoldier". I need to know if my art has to be high quality in order for it to be uploaded because I do draw but I'm not the best when it comes to high quality art.

Quality can be hard to gauge for one's own art, got a link to your off-site gallery?

There is a quality standard and I'm going to be honest with you, I don't think you're art is up to standard yet to be approved on e621.

Well, after reading a lot of harsh comments from other users I kinda don't want to upload any of my art here. Just so I don't get any mean comments towards my work.
Makes sense right?

To be frank, there are site staff that advise against artists uploading their own work to the site. There are even admins on site whom are artists, who go by this. I would suggest getting a stronger grasp on the fundamentals, working towards sharper smoother lines and proportions. As well as depth of field. Keep practicing and get your skills up, and you might find people uploading your content here.

I think I'll just stick with uploading to derpibooru, deviantart, newgrounds and furafinitty.
