Topic: Help me introduce my friend to furry

Posted under Art Talk

Hi all,
yesterday I talked to a friend oft mine and mentioned my love of furry. He doesnt know what it is so i would like to send him a picture to explain. And here is where i need your help. What Kind oft pic should i choose? My first furry pic was a selfsucking horse but i am afraid such pics could gross him out... Therefore it should be beginner friendly and not too explicit (i would prefer sfw). Additional i am gay, he is not.....so most oft my Favorit pictures wont do the job.
What pic would you choose if you were in this Situation?

Thanks for any help :)

I'd say just start with safe posts that are more art than smut. Sure there's a lot of porn, but that's not what makes you a furry.

Alternatively maybe link a comic, like The Out-of-placers:

Or any other you've read and have enjoyed for the content, not the porn.

If you love your friend
don't infect him with the furry

Do your friend a favor and don't introduce them to this cancer.

If his response is positiv or even interested maybe i go for the sexy stuff.

The furry community is like the hood and the users are like gangsters, it may look cool to some but god forbid you actually start doing this shit.

Make them play deltarun

That took me off-guard. I mean my english is far from perfect and i wrote this in particular while beeing half asleep but even now i dont see what gave it away (i see mistakes but no "i am german" mistake) :D

"oft", "positiv", and 'Favorit' are pretty odd typoes for someone whose first language is English to make. 'positiv' and 'Favorit' suggest either Russian or German to me.

"Situation" (specifically the fact of its capitalization, given its location in the sentence) strongly suggests German now that I notice it.

Your relatively consistent tendency to omit commas while maintaining reasonably sophisticated sentence structure is also interesting.

Well, these are the kind of things I look for. I'd be interested to know what exactly Munkelzahn noticed, too.

If you direct him here, do both of yourselves a favor and set him up an account with the weird shit+NSFW blacklisted first.

Soviet supermarket 'Favorit' is out of everything again. Maybe next week we get radishes.

I hope this doesn't sound mean :-/

- personal pronoun "I" written in lower case
- "oft" (German) instead of "often" (English)
- capitalized nouns in places other than the beginning of a sentence
- missing "e" at the end of certain words
- suffix missing from adverbs (in German, adverbs are usually identical to their adjectives)
- present progressive (Germans have trouble using it correctly)

It was ok. He didn't freak out or reacted in any negativ way (as expected cause he's quite open minded and not judgemental at all..but you never know). On the other hand he wasn't able to understand my fascination...so no further interest on his site. I have a feeling he reduced it too much on the sexual part as he compared it to hentai and spongebob fucking patrick (both of which does nothing for him) but i am totally fine with the outcome.

Actually i like hearing people talk in all kind of accents in german so noticing my german "accent" wont cause hard feelings ;)
The funny thing is: most of the spelling mistakes are results of me writing the first post on my mobile with german autocorrection (like the capitalized nouns who just form german words...) but in case of the grammatical stuff...as i said my english is far from perfect. :D
