Topic: Improvement for the new "next/previous" system

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

I think the new system that implemented to flick through posts is amazing: Before I had to be in the post section and open new tabs for the posts that I wanted to see; now I can just click a button and go to the next one, and it stays related to my previous tag search.

I like this new feature, however I would like if it could outright skip the blacklisted posts, isntead of loading a page with the blacklisted icon: I can't see the post, I'm not interested in seeing it anyway, so why not code the site so it skips to the next non-blacklisted post?

If I was coding that it would entail a delay, for separation-of-concerns reasons (load the page, run blacklist code, notice this image is blacklisted, activate the next/prev action again).

+1 on the general idea. The 'random post' action should probably also have this kind of thing.

The next/prev isn't just limited to posts btw, I've accidentally triggered it in the forum and it probably applies elsewhere too.

If that's done, I think it would be better with an opt-in/opt-out toggle or not applied to pools. I don't want to miss part of a comic or have to go back and reset a switch somewhere just because one page has something I'd normally skip otherwise.
