Hello. I am logged in and yet I can not see any images, no thmbnails. I can see the side listing such as mammals but the rest of the page is
a blank dark blue with a single white text "posts".
Search does not show any images results.
Tried a couple web browers with the same results.
I removed any blacklist tags just in case but that did not help either.

Any ideas?

Guessing based on other such cases, your browser's javascript support is inadequate.

On the old site, all thumbnails were returned, and then the blacklisting javascript would run; if javascript was broken, this would mean you would see all of the thumbnails, including ones you didn't want. If javascript worked, then you temporarily could see blacklisted thumbnails for a few seconds, before the blacklist code finished running.

On the new site, no thumbnails are returned; they are populated by javascript, after running them through the blacklist. If javascript is broken, that means you get no thumbnails at all. If javascript works, you get exactly the thumbnails you want, and never see anything that you have blacklisted.

The usual thing (and a good idea for any bug report) is to give your OS and hardware details.

One confirmed case was somebody who was browsing from a Wii.

Yes it is the browser , at least in part. Some times it will show images then all of a sudden blank out again. There is also the fact that some browsers have a type of no-script protetion running. Some sites will say JS is inactive when it is actually working.

At the moment only brave browser and Ms Edge seem to be stable with e621. Chrome, dolphin (aka safari), Firefox, e.t.c. either don't work at all or have random results.

It is an Android tablet btw if the dolphin browser was not enough of a clue.
