Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: substitute -> plushie

-1, the substitute can be drawn in such a way that it doesn't look like a plushie. There is also instances where a character looks like a substitute, without looking like a plushie; they'd still get tagged substitute but not plushie.

Why?
Is there an official statement you can point us to regarding when a character is masquerading as a specific other character in a way that makes it visibly clear it's a disguise and not an amalgamation of those characters?
Or cosplay, for that matter. Tagging seems split about 50/50 on whether a character gets just their own tags or also the tags for the character whose outfit they're wearing.

But a standard solo Mimikyu doesn't get mimikyu pikachu. Are you saying that's purely because Pikachu is a species and not a character?

What? Is this relevant to the OP's topic, because I was only referring to the fact that the mimikyu also looked like a substitute doll. A character that looks like another character, species, et cetera, will get the appropriate tag; a mimikyu can get the pikachu tag even if they're solo, so long as they look enough like a pikachu... same thing with the post, the mimikyu also looks enough of a substitute doll to get tagged as one.
