What happened to the artist Tacklebox/Tacklebawx?
I'm definite their art used to be on here but its gone now along with most of their stuff on FA, they're not on the DNP list either.
Anyone know if they just decided to leave the internet or something cuz i kinda liked their art, really not in the loop when it comes to drama.

Just curious.

4 months ago they issued a takedown which pretty much deleted everything under tacklebox with the reason "old outdated artwork". However they didn't request DNP status from the looks of it.

He got caught up in controversy for drawing things people didn't like (the one that comes to mind is a cub pic that, from what I heard on the grapevine, he was pressured into). He DNP'd all of his stuff from here and removed all the explicit stuff from his twitter. He still draws, but not nearly as often.

That's a bit of a shame, thanks for the pretty quick replies tho.

In essence certain members of a group involved with another furry artist who used to do cub (tartii) who now is hyper against any sort of nsfw at all went after Tacklebox because of art they referred to as "cub porn" and slammed Tacklebox repeatedly for being a "pedophile" even though the art is of one of their own (adult) characters who happens to look like someone else's puppy. The art in question isnt even fully nude, just has a very noticable underwear bulge. Its easy to check in any twitter archive.

People went nuts and the people who spread the rumor blew it out of proportion and the dude basically had to stop existing online over it.

I genuinely hate the cancel culture. It's way too easy to broadcast half truths and lies and masses eat it up without questioning because pedophilia.
