Topic: None flash videos are unplayable

Since the new site launched, animations that function as videos that are not using flash won't work.
The file loads but can't be played in any way. animations with "Webm" in the top corner, if playable at all, seem to load briefly, then all controls (pause play etc) grey out.

Update: some gifs seem to work. But any longer animation that requires to be "played" isn't functioning (as stated above)

I've also been experiencing this problem.

I'm also experiencing this, also when I click the download button to help load the video faster it just shows that connection with e621 has timed out.

I've posted this a few places, but it seems relevant with the timeouts:

From the news section:

April 1st:
We're currently experiencing connectivity issues to some parts of the world, this does not appear to be an issue on our end we'd be able to fix, but appears to be something with Cloudflare's nodes. If you can try restarting your router / device and see if you'll be routed to a node that works as it should. Alternatively if you're using a VPN setting it to the US might help as well.

And from the Discord:

We are aware of problems loading images/thumbnails/flash/videos. They are outside of our control and are intermittent regional issues. They appear to be related to the generally very high usage of the internet at large. Some people have reported success with using a VPN that routes traffic through the united states. Your mileage may vary.

With everybody staying at home because of covid-19 most networking hardware has been a bit more strained than usual, which is causing problems and outages globally, not just E6.

---

Earlier I had only a few images load, as Cloudflare cached them, now nothing loads and I'm getting timeouts. It's most likely a problem with global increased internet activity and Cloudflare's nodes.

any longer animation that requires to be "played"

That's webm's, right? AFAIK, this site supports: GIF(no 'play' button), SWF(Flash that plays using plugin), and WEBM(that has the video buttons like play/stop/position).
